Beekay, a talented Nigerian-born singer-songwriter whose career began in the city of Port Harcourt releases a new EP titled “All Men Are The Same”.
Born Bassey Kenneth, Beekay has made a name for himself in the music industry with his soulful voice and thoughtful lyrics. His previous work has gained international recognition, and his music has been featured in films and concerts across Africa and beyond.
Some of his notable collaborations include working with Ric Hassani, Praiz, Timi Dakolo, and Johnny Drille on his AFTERDARK concert series. He has also hosted the acclaimed Vibe Therapy Sessions, featuring top artists like Masterkraft, VJ Adams, Gospelondebeatz, and many others.
Beekay’s previous releases that have won the hearts of his fans far and near include song like “Cruise Confession” released in 2021, which gained global recognition and popularized the affirmations “I Am Beauri” and “I Will Not Only Screenshot, I Will Have Money to Buy”. In 2021, his EP “7th Crush Deluxe” enjoyed streaming success across Africa, Europe, and beyond. And in 2023, his single “LIGHT” was selected as the official soundtrack for Nigeria’s biggest film of the year, “Breathe of Life”.
